International cooperation. Continuation of the Days of the Vitebsk Region in Pskov

The delegation of VSMU, represented by the Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits and Head of the International and Interregional Affairs Office Elena Sharykhina, continues its work at the Days of the Vitebsk Region in Pskov.

Representatives of VSMU visited the Institute of Medicine and Experimental Biology of Pskov State University, where they learned about its activities and discussed cooperation issues at a “round table”.

The parties agreed and discussed the details of the participation of students and young scientists of VSMU in joint projects: the program of youth and student tourism in the Union State of Russia and Belarus and the 1st Russian-Belarusian Youth Medical Forum, which is held with the support and participation of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine” of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

VSMU student wins bronze medal at boxing tournament

From August 20 to 24, 2024, the 10th International Boxing Tournament in Memory of the Honored Trainer of the Republic of Belarus A.K. Kolchin was held in Orsha. At this tournament, VSMU medical faculty student Gleb Ivanov won 3rd place in the 92+ kg weight category.

The athlete trains under the guidance of USSR Master of Sports Leonid Bolshakov, head of the physical education chair at VSMU.

On August 27, 2024, the Republican Pedagogical Council was held in the Palace of the Republic with the participation of the Head of the State Alexander Lukashenko.

The VSMU delegation headed by the Rector of the University Alexei Chukanov took part in this large-scale forum.

On August 21-25, students of the scientific circle of the Chair of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with the course of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining of VSMU (Anastasia Gorbachevskaya, Yana Romanova, Anna Minchinkova, Ekaterina Golozhina, Alexander Lutsyuk, Ivan Petrunin, Elizaveta Asiryan, Pavel Malov, Anastasia Semenova, Ekaterina Rokalova, Ihsas Abdula) took part in the Final of the 10^th China Belt and Road International Undergraduate Forum for Basic Innovative Experiment Design in Medical Sciences 2024, which was held in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China.
