On April 1, 2024, a regular meeting of the University Council was held at VSMU, at which the following issues were considered: on awarding the academic title of associate professor to an applicant; on the functioning of the quality management system at the university; about the work of socio-pedagogical and psychological services; analysis of the results of the work of the commission on the reassignment and redirection of graduates to work, changes in specialty and internship base for 2019-2023; on awarding the honorary title “Veteran of Labor of VSMU” to the university employees.

On March 25-29, 2024, the Vitebsk City Cup in table tennis among men's and women's teams was held at school No. 17.

18 men's and 10 women's teams of FCC organizations, educational establishments, and sports schools of the city took part in the competition.

On March 29, 2024, the final of the V Open Competition of National Cultures, Creativity and Beauty “Grace International” took place.

This year girls from eight countries of the world took part in the competition: Belarus, Russia, China, Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Kyrgyzstan, Zimbabwe, Cameroon.

On March 30, 2024, the students, employees, trade union activists, and veterans of Vitebsk State Medical University took part in a city cleanup day.

Many volunteered to help restore order and cleanliness. In just a few hours of work, participants in the environmental action beautified the territory of the university, dormitories, as well as the territory adjacent to the university from Gapeev Stream to the Letniy Amphitheater.
