An open darts and chess tournament was held at the Vitebsk State Medical University among city public organizations and political parties in the city of Vitebsk under the motto “For a United Belarus”.

Teams of the Belarusian Party “White Rus'”, LDPB, Communist Party of Belarus, Republican Party of Labor and Justice, Belarusian Union of Afghanistan War Veterans, Belarusian Union of Officers, RPO “Patriots of Belarus”, as well as the Belarusian public association “Veterans of Physical Culture” took part in the competition and sports."

The purpose of these competitions is to inform about the activities of political parties and public organizations aimed at uniting civil society. Senior teachers of the department of physical education of VSMU Alexander Tur, Sergey Maslak, Alexander Minin, the employees of the military department of VSMU - senior teachers Nikolai Roshchin, Arsen Talybov, Sergey Trishin, as well as the instructors of the VSMU sports club Artem Getmonov and Dmitry Prokhorenko, took an active part in both judging and participation in the national teams of the veteran organization of VSMU, the Vitebsk city organization of the Belarusian Union of Officers.

The participants showed decent results. The competitions were held at a high organizational level.
