On January 10, 2024, the opening ceremony of the sculptural composition “Echo of Love” took place, which was attended by Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, the Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU Denis Lits, the staff and students of the university.

The idea to create a sculptural composition came to an initiative group from Bogushevsk, headed by Vyacheslav Stanovenko, the head of the department of faculty surgery at VSMU, together with the leadership of the Bogushevsk rural executive committee.

The monument is cast in bronze and depicts Dmitry Bogushevsky and his wife, after whom the Bogushevskaya railway station was named.

The sculptural composition was embodied by sculptors, members of the Belarusian Union of Artists, Igor Golubev and Sergei Sotnikov.

Creative groups of the VSMU student club took part in a festive concert organized for residents of Bogushevsk.
