On January 13-14, 2024, the educational establishments “Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University” hosted the preliminary stages of university Olympiads in the academic subjects “Biology” and “Chemistry” for the 11th grade students of general secondary education institutions.

The preliminary stage of the Olympiad involved computer testing and included 100 multiple choice questions randomly selected from a database consisting of at least 500 questions.

276 people took part in the preliminary stage of the Chemistry Olympiad, of which 44 people passed to the final stage; 430 people took part in the preliminary stage of the Biology Olympiad, of which 87 people passed to the final stage.
