On April 26, 2024, regional swimming competitions among healthcare workers were held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. The competition was organized by the committee of the Vitebsk regional organization of healthcare workers trade union.

20 regional healthcare organizations and more than 50 medical workers took part in the competition, who competed for victory at distances of 100 meters for men and 50 meters for women.

The team of the primary trade union organization of VSMU employees had no equal - all our swimmers became the best in their distances! Gold medals were won by: Anastasia Suvorova, assistant of the department of general and medical practice; Yuri Suvorov - sports club instructor; Dmitry Prokhorenko - sports club instructor.
