On May 7, 2025, a videoconference between VSMU, Chinese educational association Beijing FD International Education Technology Co., Ltd (FD EDU) and Taizhou Institute was held.
The Chinese representatives were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Lits Denis. Also the dean of the Faculty of Medicine Marina Fomina, the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Valentina Kugach, the head of the Office of International and Interregional Relations Elena Sharykhina, the head of the Department of International Relations Anna Pchelintseva, the head of the educational sector of the educational and methodological department Evgeniya Vasiletskaya took part in the negotiations.
The main topic of the talks was the development of a joint educational program on the specialty “Pharmacy”, aimed at training highly qualified specialists.
The participants of the meeting considered the structure of the future program, including the integration of curricula, exchange of students and teachers, as well as the use of modern educational technologies. Special attention was paid to ensuring mutual recognition of diplomas and the creation of joint courses combining Belarusian and Chinese standards of pharmaceutical education.
"This project is an important step in strengthening academic ties between higher education institutions of the two countries. The joint program will provide a unique experience combining the best practices of the two educational systems," emphasized Denis Lits.
