On November 13, 2025 year, students of the Young Teacher's School participated in a joint lecture with the Saratov State Law Academy on the topic "Psychology of Professional Activity in Higher Education: Issues of Stress Management and Building Effective Communications."
The session was moderated and conducted by Victoria Mikhlyuk, head of the social, pedagogical, and psychological service from our university. The lecture covered issues related to developing teachers' psychological competence in stress management and fostering productive professional relationships within an academic environment.
The lecture was divided into three modules, each comprising a theoretical part and an interactive activity (Module 1: "Anatomy of Academic Stress: From Session to Grant"; Module 2: "Stress Management Tools: From Tactics to Strategy"; Module 3: "Communication in the Academic Environment: From Conflict to Cooperation")
Participants highly appreciated the productive nature of the interactive tasks, the opportunity to consolidate new material practically, adapt it to their personal and professional characteristics, and try out effective stress management techniques.
This special binary lecture format—where two specialists from different institutions collaborate—along with the opportunity to discuss common challenges faced by young teachers in diverse fields, is expected to encourage the introduction of innovative solutions into their teaching practices. After the lecture, a round table was held to discuss the format and summarize the session's outcomes.
