8 teams took part in badminton competitions in the program of the Spartakiad among the teams of dormitories of institutions of secondary specialized and higher education in the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

The VSMU team consisting of Palihena Yeshani Udayana (5^th year, Faculty of Overseas Students Training) and Minura Wijesena Ransika (4^th year, Faculty of Overseas Students Training), took 1st place (coach – Getmonov Artyom Vladimirovich).

The swimming team of our university consisting of Ksenia Konkova (6^th year, General Medicine Faculty), Anastasia Appolonova (2^nd year, Pharmaceutical Faculty), Atanazar Bayramov (4^th year, Faculty of Overseas Students Training) and Maxim Shelkov (2^nd year, Pharmaceutical Faculty) also took 1st place in the program of the Spartakiad (coach – Prokhorenko Dmitry Aleksandrovich).
