VSMU students being members of the student scientific circle of the Chair of General, Physical and Colloidal Chemistry, Ibezim Praise Odiwonma and Eneh Favour Chigozirim, took part in the 5th International Student Environmental Congress StEC-2022, which was held on November 25-26, 2022. The congress was organized by the Faculty of Chemistry, the Research Institute for Physical Chemical Problems of the Belarusian State University and the team of the student project “Shadow Day BSU”.
A second-year student of the Overseas Students Training Faculty (specialty “Pharmacy”), Ibezim Praise Odiwonma, made a presentation entitled “Ecological Problems in Nigeria”, whereas Eneh Favour Chigozirim gave a presentation “Medicinal Plant in Nigeria” (Research Supervisors: Z.S. Kuntsevich, the Head of the Chair of General, Physical and Colloidal Chemistry, T.O. Kononova, the Senior Lecturer of the Chair of General, Physical, and Colloidal Chemistry). Ibezim Praise Odiwonma's report was selected as the best in the nomination “International Eco-Projects”, Eneh Favour Chigozirim's report was selected as the best in the nomination “Environmental Medicine”. Both students received diplomas for the best reports in the section “Ecologization of the Educational Process, Scientific Research, and the Formation of an Ecological Culture of Modern Youth”.
