On February 7, students of the Overseas Students Training Faculty visited the Astronomical Center of VSU named after P.M. Masherov.
Each student had the opportunity to hold a real meteorite in their hands, look at the night sky of Vitebsk, get acquainted with the work of the stationary telescope-refractor AVR-3, the computerized telescope of the Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector Celestron.
An assistant of the Department of Engineering Physics of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies of VSU, Pudovkin Sergey Yuryevich, conducted a fascinating excursion, accompanied by watching a film about the stars, gas and dust nebulae of our galaxy on a hemispherical dome.
