Curriculum and instruction department is a subdivision of the University organizing and coordinating University’s educational activities and providing academic support of the educational process.

The activity of the department is organized in accordance with the Code of the Republic of Belarus on education; legislation of the Republic of Belarus; decrees; orders; regulations; instructions of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus; and other documents and materials regulating the functioning and development of higher educational establishments; Charter of "Vitebsk State Medical University"; Provision on the Curriculum and Instruction Department.

The curriculum and instruction department comprises an educational-information unit as well.
