The VSMU project was awarded the highest prize of the Republican contest “Youth of Belarus for Life, Morality and Family Values”

On the eve of the Family Day the students and staff of VSMU took part in the International Forum “Family - the basis of demographic potential of the state”, which was held in the National Library of Belarus and became a significant event for young activists and enthusiasts of the Republic of Belarus. An important moment of the forum was the awarding ceremony of the winners of the Republican Contest of Social Youth Projects “Youth of Belarus for Life, Morality and Family Values”. About three hundred youth teams from different regions of Belarus took part in the contest.

According to the results of the Republican Contest, the innovative educational project “Family - the National Wealth of Belarus” was awarded the diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Charitable Foundation for Support of Family, Motherhood and Childhood “Pokrov” of the first degree in the nomination “Youth for Family Values for Life!”. (project leader teacher-organizer Nazarev Sergey). The project of Vitebsk State Medical University became a vivid example of the fact that student youth is able to take initiative, influence the fate of their people and contribute to the revival of traditional national ideals.
