Unified Information Day at VSMU

On July 17, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University is holding a Unified Information Day on the topic “Sovereign Belarus: from restoring the national economy to innovative projects of the future”. Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits met with first-year students and volunteers and discussed the key stages of our country's development in an open dialogue format.

Particular attention was paid to the historical memory and lessons of the Great Patriotic War. It was noted that, despite the difficult trials, Belarus not only recovered, but also became a modern sovereign state confidently following its own path of development. Thanks to the wise policy of the Head of State and the hard work of the people, the country has achieved significant success in various areas.

During the dialogue, significant achievements in medicine and education were noted.

Denis Lits emphasized: “Our history teaches us to value peace and stability. Today, Belarus is a country that not only maintains sovereignty, but also actively develops, introducing modern technologies. And the younger generation is aware of its role in this process and contributes to the prosperity of the country”.
