Meeting of the deputy of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov with university students

On July 17, 2025, a meeting between the deputy of Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov and university students undergoing final practical training in special military training at the 103^rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade was held.

During the visit, a dialogue platform within the framework of the Unified Information Day, dedicated to current issues of the development of sovereign Belarus was held. Important aspects of the historical path of Belarus, the results of the Great Patriotic War, achievements in the field of medicine, education and economics, as well as prospects for the development of innovative areas were touched upon.

In his speech, Alexey Nikolaevich emphasized: “Belarus is a country with a rich history, a strong present and a confident future. Our path from recovery after military destruction to leadership in high technologies is an example of the resilience, foresight of our President and the unity of our people. Today, each of us contributes to the development of the country, and only together we can reach new heights”.

Also, Alexey Nikolaevich got acquainted with the living conditions of students in the unit and the training practice points. Future officers demonstrated military bearing, combat brotherhood and a decent level of special competencies.
