On September 3, 2025, VSMU participated in an online roundtable titled “International Day of Knowledge – Kaleidoscope of International Events,” which brought together universities from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Representing VSMU, the event was attended by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Denis Lits, Head of the International and Interregional Affairs Office Elena Sharykhina, and Head of the Department of International Affairs Anna Pchelințeva.
At the roundtable, the potential of VSMU was highlighted, and participants discussed plans for joint activities for the 2025–2026 academic year, as well as ways to enhance the efficiency of student and faculty mobility within academic exchange programs.
This event not only emphasized the importance of international cooperation in higher education but also outlined specific pathways for the development of academic mobility and scientific-practical interactions between universities in the CIS countries.
The online “International Day of Knowledge” meeting served as a vivid example of how universities from different countries can unite efforts to achieve common goals.
As Vice-Rector Denis Lits noted: “Collaboration in education and science is a bridge that connects not only universities but also countries.”
