For the first time, VSMU Has Signed a Cooperation Agreement with a General Secondary Educational Institution in Minsk

On September 11, 2025, a delegation from Vitebsk State Medical University, consisting of Rector Alexey Chukhanov, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Legal WOrk Denis Litsa, and Head of the Department for International and Interregional Affairs Office Elena Sharykhina, visited State Educational Institution "Gymnasium No. 7 of Minsk named after V.I. Livenets." 

During the visit, agreements were reached to implement joint activities aimed at improving the quality of education, exchanging experience, and organizing career guidance activities for gymnasium students. This cooperation laid the foundation for a formal partnership agreement signed with the director, Larisa Smagina.

"The agreement signed between VSMU and the gymnasium opens new horizons for future applicants. We are creating a system of continuous training where school students can explore medical professions, immerse themselves in the world of medicine, and make an informed choice to pursue a medical career," said Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University, Alexey Chukhanov.

As part of the cooperation, joint scientific and educational events are planned, which will allow students to deepen their knowledge in medicine and healthcare. The agreement between VSMU and the gymnasium not only strengthens ties between educational institutions but also fosters interest among youth in scientific activities and medical professions.
