A Dialogue About the Development of Student Science

On September 11, 2025, a meeting was held between the members of the Student Scientific Society (SSO) and Elena Asiryan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work.

Participating in the event were the scientific supervisor of the SSO, Evgeny Shlyakhtunov, and Vice-Rector for Security, Regime, and Personnel, Nikolay Dorofeev.

Representatives of student scientific circles and students included in the database of gifted youth were invited to attend the session. The dialogue took place in a highly open and constructive atmosphere. University SSO members had a unique opportunity to directly ask pressing questions and discuss current issues concerning the development of student science at our university.

Key topics discussed included:

- Support for student scientific initiatives: from idea to project implementation.

- Activities of student scientific circles within the university.

- Participation in grants and competitions: expanding opportunities for young researchers.

- Organization and conduct of scientific events: conferences, seminars, master classes.

- Involvement of students in scientific projects of departments and laboratories.

- Ways to increase publication activity and raise the profile of our research.

The Vice-Rector expressed full readiness to support initiatives, ideas, and proposals, and to actively contribute to the development of students’ scientific potential. Valuable recommendations were provided, and pathways for further cooperation were outlined.
