Meeting with Young Specialists and Interns of Healthcare Institutions of the Brest Region

On September 16, 2025, a delegation from Vitebsk State Medical University, led by Rector Alexey Chukanov, visited the Brest Region as part of ongoing work with young specialists and interns. The purpose of the visit was to meet with university graduates who recently started working in the healthcare institutions of the region.

During an open and focused discussion, representatives of the university administration talked with the young doctors about their first steps in the profession, conditions of adaptation in new workplaces, specificities of their work, and everyday issues.

It is important to emphasize that during the dialogue, the young specialists expressed satisfaction with their first jobs. No negative feedback was received from the graduates regarding working conditions or living arrangements.

Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov said: “Such meetings are an important part of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus program to support graduates and strengthen the human resource potential of our country’s healthcare system.”
