The dialogue platform on National Unity Day was held at VSMU

On September 17, 2025, a deeply symbolic meeting was held at the Vitebsk State Medical University – a dialogue platform with Gleb Lapitsky, a member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and General Director of the Vitebsk Cultural Center.

This day, filled with special meaning, set the tone for a sincere and meaningful conversation about what matters most: the connection between eras, the continuity of generations, and the unshakable values that unite the Belarusian people.

At the heart of the open dialogue with medical students were issues of historical memory and the youth’s awareness of the true significance of National Unity Day.

Drawing on his rich professional and life experience, Gleb Lapitsky emphasized that National Unity Day is not only an occasion to reflect on historical lessons but also a time to consolidate around common goals and objectives.

The dialogue was lively and constructive. The students not only received answers to their pressing questions but also gained a deeper understanding of their role in strengthening the sovereignty and well-being of the state.

The meeting became another step in fostering socially responsible, patriotically minded youth who honor traditions and confidently look to the future.
