Symbolic Meeting on National Unity Day

On September 17, 2025, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University, led by Rector Alexey Chukanov, met with young specialists and interns from the Brest region working in healthcare institutions and the "Brest Pharmacy" system.

A significant part of the meeting took place on that day – National Unity Day – at the Brest Fortress, a symbol of heroism and unity of spirit.

Addressing those present, the rector emphasized the special symbolism of holding the meeting precisely on National Unity Day, highlighting the consolidating role of this state holiday, which embodies the continuity of generations, historical unity, and the cohesion of the Belarusian people – all of which form the foundation for the successful development of our Fatherland.

The participants honored the memory of the defenders of the Motherland who gave their lives during the Great Patriotic War with a moment of silence and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.
