The Simulation and Certification Center and the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining in Pedagogic and Psychology have launched the implementation of a First Aid training course for employees of the university’s educational, economic, and security services.
The aim of the course is to develop practical skills and psychological readiness to provide first aid in typical emergency situations, in accordance with legal requirements and the principle of "do no harm."
The first classes were held on March 5-6, 2026. A total of 23 trainees participated, who highly appreciated the practical significance of the sessions. The training focused on acquiring knowledge about the algorithm of primary actions in emergency situations, legal aspects of first aid, and the formation of key manual skills: assessing the safety and condition of the victim, calling emergency services and effectively transmitting information, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, stopping external bleeding, providing assistance if a foreign body enters the respiratory tract, and actions in case of loss of consciousness.
