A solemn event dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus

On March 13, 2026, on the eve of one of the main national holidays — Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, a solemn ceremony was held at Vitebsk Medical University to raise the National Flag of Belarus.

This event has become a symbol of unity and respect for the Basic Law, which defines the values and development path of the Belarusian people.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Vitebsk Medical University administration, staff, and students. The honorary right to raise the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus was granted to Lieutenant Colonel of the medical service, senior lecturer of the military department Arseniy Tsygankov, as well as distinguished university students.

Alexey Chukanov, Rector of VSMU, addressed the audience with warm words of congratulations:

"Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus is a holiday for each of us. I am confident that everyone’s work, in their respective roles, will continue to contribute to the prosperity of our country and strengthen its sovereignty."

The event concluded with a lively musical performance by soloists from the national amateur band of Belarus, the Tandem pop song studio.
