Successful performance of VSMU students in badminton competitions

On March 11-12, 2026, the VSMU large sports hall became a hub of activity for badminton enthusiasts. Competitions were held there as part of the dormitory spartakiad among institutions of secondary specialized and higher education in the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

Our students demonstrated excellent skill and a high level of preparation:

• In men's singles, Mohammed Adnan (4th year, Overseas Students training Faculty) took 1st place.
• In women's singles, Panchali Tehara Abeyasinghe (2nd year, Overseas Students training Faculty) won the silver medal.
• In the team competition, the VSMU team secured second place on the podium.
