VSMU is the winner of the year-round Spartakiad among the teams of dormitories of institutions of secondary special and higher education in the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk in 2025

On March 17, 2026, Dmitry Kuzhel, Vice-Rector of Ideological and Educational Work, participated in a meeting of ideological activists from the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

During the event, the winners of the year-round spartakiad among teams from dormitories of secondary special and higher education institutions in the Oktyabrsky district were awarded, with the VSMU team taking 1st place.

Additionally, Leonid Petrovsky, head of the VSMU Sports Club, received a diploma from the Oktyabrsky District Administration of Vitebsk for his personal contribution to organizing mass sports events and physical education, as well as for his active participation in the district’s sporting life.
