On March 19, 2026, information meetings dedicated to Single Information Day were held at VSMU. The events involved all university faculties, structural divisions, the VSMU Clinic, student dormitories, and clinical departments.
The theme of the events was: "Modern Approaches to Regional Development: From the Economy to Social Infrastructure."
The speakers elaborated on the results of socio-economic development over the past five years and highlighted the priority areas of government policy moving forward.
Special emphasis was placed on the fact that achieving these goals is impossible without the personal participation of every citizen — through conscientious work and contribution to the country’s prosperity.
During the discussions, issues related to improving the quality of life in small towns and peripheral areas were raised. The participants stressed that harmonious regional development has long been one of the key priorities of Belarus’s socio-economic development programs.
The current agenda calls for flexible solutions and constructive dialogue among the government, the business community, and society.
Only by joining forces can sustainable national development and balanced resource allocation for the benefit of all citizens be ensured.
