On March 28, 2026, training sessions of the republican project "Start the Heart" were held at the simulation and certification center of Vitebsk State Medical University, attended by tenth-grade students.
Under the guidance of the center’s specialists, high school students learned the key elements of pre-medical care, including recognizing signs of sudden cardiac arrest, the correct algorithm for calling emergency services, as well as techniques for indirect heart massage and mechanical ventilation.
The students applied their theoretical knowledge in practice using specialized training mannequins.
The "Start the Heart" project aims to impart a simple yet crucial truth to the younger generation: a victim’s life directly depends on who is present at a critical moment.
