The VSMU team is the winner of the Republican Student Olympiad using simulation technologies in epidemiology and infectious diseases

On March 31, 2026, the final stage of the Republican Student Olympiad was held at GomSMU, utilizing simulation technologies in epidemiology and infectious diseases. Students from the 4th to 6th years of all medical universities in Belarus participated. The theme of the Olympiad was "Infection Safety: From Prevention to Treatment."

Participants' skills were assessed by a judging panel comprising leading specialists from the healthcare system and the higher medical education institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

Vitebsk State Medical University was represented by a team consisting of Nikita Skaskevich, Tatiana Barilko, and Antonina Istomina.

According to the competition results, the VSMU team emerged victorious, demonstrating a high level of professional training and excellent teamwork.
