VSMU and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Medical Technologies have signed a cooperation agreement

On April 2, 2026, Alexey Chukanov, Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University, held a working meeting with Alexey Shcherbinsky, Director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Medical Technologies, Informatization, Management, and Economics of Healthcare.

Following negotiations between the two institutions, a cooperation agreement was signed. This document outlines the joint activities of the parties in the educational, scientific, and social spheres. The partnership aims to provide scientific and methodological support for VSMU's activities and to address tasks related to modernizing and informatizing the healthcare system of the Republic of Belarus.

As part of the agreement, special attention will be given to optimizing medical and diagnostic care by leveraging advanced domestic and international experiences in the field of e-health.

The signing of this agreement will contribute to enhancing the quality of scientific research and the educational process, fostering cultural exchange between the parties, achieving shared learning goals, and strengthening the practice-oriented nature of scientific and educational activities.
