Classes within the framework of the "Start the Heart" project continue at VSMU

On April 4, 2026, the regular training sessions of the republican project "Start the Heart" took place at the simulation and certification center of Vitebsk State Medical University. The participants were 10th-grade students from general secondary education institutions in Vitebsk.

Under the guidance of the center's specialists, high school students learned algorithms for recognizing signs of sudden cardiac arrest, practiced calling emergency services, and mastered techniques such as indirect heart massage and artificial ventilation. The theoretical knowledge gained was reinforced through practical training using specialized mannequins.
