VSMU is the most widely read medical university in Belarus

On June 2, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted representatives of GEOTAR and DELSAR companies. The visit was dedicated to the presentation of the award within the framework of the first annual Pulse of Knowledge award in the field of medical education, established by GEOTAR Digital Solutions (Student Consultant LLC).

VSMU became the winner of the award in the nomination "The most reading medical university in Belarus".

This victory is a recognition that VSMU really lives by knowledge and professional reading. Special thanks to the Delsar company, thanks to which the university has access to modern educational technologies and publishing resources.

Two master classes dedicated to GEOTAR-Media digital educational products were held during the visit.

Speakers – Irina Krakhmal (Head of Development and implementation support of digital products for medical education "GEOTAR Digital Solutions") and Elena Gracheva (Head of Digital Product Sales at GEOTAR Digital Solutions (Student Consultant LLC)) – we conducted a master class "Artificial intelligence in medical education: a teacher's second wind."

The event participants got acquainted with the key digital products available at VSMU and their new features, including interactive publications – atlases on histology, cytology, pathological anatomy and others. The speakers also demonstrated the work of an AI consultant and suggested ways to use it in teaching and helping students learn.

The participants of the event were able to ask questions to the artificial intelligence from GEOTAR together and evaluate its answers.

An intellectual quiz based on GEOTAR-Media resources was also organized. The participants tested their knowledge, competed and received prizes from the publishing house.
