IV Joint scientific and practical conference with international participation of the Association of Coloproctologists of the Republic of Belarus and the Association of Coloproctologists of Russia "Topical issues of coloproctology"

On June 4-5, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosts the IV joint scientific and practical conference with the international participation of the Association of Coloproctologists of the Republic of Belarus and the Association of Coloproctologists of Russia "Topical issues of coloproctology".

Chief Physician of the regional Clinical Specialized center, Chief freelance Proctologist of the Ministry of Health, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Valery Denisenko emphasized the uniqueness of the event: "This is the first time that a conference of this scale has been held in Vitebsk."

The conference is attended by leading experts in the field of coloproctology from Belarus, Russia, Switzerland, England, the United States of America, India, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.

The participants focused on current issues of modern coloproctology: from complex cases of rectal fistulas to criteria for the correct application of intestinal stoma.

A special emphasis at the forum is placed on the latest technologies that are being introduced into the diagnosis and treatment of proctological diseases. The organizers note that the intensive exchange of experience between Belarusian and foreign colleagues will give rise to new joint research and methods that can improve the quality of life of patients.
