For the first time, the integrated state examination on pharmacy was held at VSMU

For the first time at the Pharmaceutical Faculty of Vitebsk State Medical University, the final certification of students is conducted in the form of an integrated state pharmacy exam.

On June 11, 2026, 5th-year full–time students complete the first stage of practical skills.

Before the exam, the future pharmacists were greeted by the university's rector Alexey Chukanov and First Vice-rector Alina Shchupakova.

The Rector appreciated the organization of the practical skill, which includes assignments in such academic disciplines as "Pharmaceutical Chemistry", "Pharmacognosy", "Pharmacy and Industrial technology of medicines", "Organization and Economics of pharmacy".

Alexey Nikolaevich noted that VSMU pays great attention to practice-oriented education, which makes it possible to train highly qualified specialists who are in demand on the labor market.

Next week, graduates will demonstrate their theoretical background during the second stage of the integrated State Pharmacy exam, an oral interview.
