"Success is a common merit": VSMU awarded employees for their contribution to the development of the university

As part of the celebrations dedicated to the Day of Medical Workers, a solemn meeting was held at Vitebsk State Medical University on June 17, 2026.

The event honored university staff who, through many years of hard work and high professionalism, make a significant contribution to the development of the university.

The ceremony was attended by Vladimir Plytkevich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers, the administration, the faculty and staff of VSMU.

Rector Alexey Chukanov delivered a congratulatory speech. He warmly thanked the staff for their work, noting that the success of the university is the common merit of each employee.

An award ceremony was held during the event.

For conscientious work, professionalism and significant contribution to the development of the university, a number of employees were awarded a Certificate of Honor from the General Directorate of Health of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

Certificates of Honor and Commendations of the rector were also presented for the holiday. They were awarded to those who have been working at VSMU for more than one year and show by their example what it means to be a true professional.

Awards from the trade union — Certificates of Honor and commendations from the presidium of the regional committee — were presented by Vladimir Plytkevich. He joined in the congratulations and wished everyone good health and new successes.
