VSMU held a Council dedicated to the graduation of dentists

On June 25, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted one of the most significant events of the year — the University's solemn Council dedicated to the graduation of dentists.

On this day, 99 graduates of the Stomatological Faculty, 17 of whom graduated from the university with honors, took the solemn "Oath of a doctor of the Republic of Belarus", opening a new chapter of their professional life.

The university rector Alexey Chukanov and the dean of the Faculty Lyudmila Belyaeva presented their graduation diplomas to the graduates. Traditionally, the presentation of the shoulder straps of the lieutenant of the medical service of the reserve also took place.

Addressing the culprits of the celebration, Alexey Nikolaevich emphasized:

"Socially oriented government policy, support for healthcare and education systems have made it possible to fully implement the principle of practice orientation and have given you all the opportunities for high-quality assistance to the population. May love for your native land, profession and people become the main incentive for your growth, conscientious work and active citizenship!"

This solemn moment was not only a summing up of the results of studies, but also a day of sincere appreciation. Many kind words were spoken from the stage — the graduates and their parents warmly thanked the university staff for their invaluable knowledge, unique educational atmosphere, and opportunities to realize their creative potential, and the teachers, in turn, spoke with pride and warmth about their talented students.
