VSMU awarded diplomas to graduates of the Overseas Students Training Faculty

The solemn Council of VSMU, dedicated to the 40th edition of Doctors of Medicine, the 31st edition of Pharmacists and the 21st edition of Doctors of Dentistry of the Overseas Students Training Faculty, was held on June 25, 2026.

Every year, more and more foreign students choose education in Belarus and, in particular, at VSMU. The high level of training, affordable tuition, comfortable and safe environment, as well as the recognition of diplomas abroad make our university one of the main centers of medical education for foreign citizens. The current issue is another proof of that.

The diplomas of a doctor and pharmacist will be taken home by citizens of Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America and other countries in order to apply the acquired knowledge in their national health systems.

This year, the Overseas Students Training Faculty has trained a total of 136 specialists: 105 graduates studied in the specialty "Medical science", 2 — in the specialty "Pharmacy" and 29 — in the specialty "Dentistry". Each of them went through a serious path of mastering the profession, passing the final exams with dignity.

During the ceremony, the graduates of the Overseas Students Training Faculty warmly thanked the university administration, staff and teachers for their support, knowledge and warmth. The event culminated with the recitation of the Hippocratic Oath, followed by the presentation of university diplomas. And, without a doubt, this exciting moment will forever remain in the memory of young specialists as a symbol of the beginning of their independent path in medicine.
