On June 26, 2026, as part of the Cooperation Agreement between VSMU and the Branch Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Teaching Staff at Tashkent State Medical University, an online lecture on "Determining the sensitivity of bacteria to antibacterial therapy" was held.
The lecture was delivered by Vladimir Arkadyevich Matveev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Distinguished Health Worker of the Republic of Belarus, Professor of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 with a course in FPC and PC at VSMU.

The online format of the event made it possible to unite the students of the advanced training course - teaching staff from Uzbekistan – with a leading Belarusian specialist. As the audience noted, the lecture was highly relevant and of practical importance.
At the end of the lesson, a lively discussion took place, during which Professor Matveev answered numerous questions from the audience regarding the choice of antibiotics in pediatric practice and overcoming microbial resistance.
