The solemn ceremony of taking the Military Oath by VSMU students

On July 11, 2026, in Vitebsk, on the Flag and Coat of Arms Square, a solemn Military oath was taken by 4th-year students of Vitebsk State Medical University who are undergoing training under the reserve officer training program.

164 students of the medical, dental, pediatric and pharmaceutical faculties of VSMU swore allegiance to the Republic of Belarus in the presence of their relatives and friends.

The rector of the University Alexey Chukanov, the mother of the student who took the Military Oath, Olga Babayed, the student who took the Military Oath, and the head of the Diocesan Department for Cooperation with the Armed Forces and Other Military Formations, Archpriest Alexander Mozolev, addressed the audience with words of congratulations.

The ceremony ended with a solemn platoon march. After the official part, a field kitchen was organized for the participants and guests of the event, as well as a commemorative photo shoot.
