VSMU Representatives Take Part in the Days of the Vitebsk Region in Pskov

On 28-29 August 2026, staff and students of Vitebsk State Medical University took part in the Days of the Vitebsk Region in Pskov. For two days, the city centre was transformed into a themed venue showcasing industrial, agricultural and handicraft products from Vitebsk Region, the region’s investment potential, as well as joint youth projects in the field of patriotic education.

As part of the information and presentation venue, VSMU presented the projects “Streets of Heroes”, “Patriotic Education within the Activities of the Serve the Fatherland Military-Patriotic Club”, the innovative educational project “VSMU Youth for Family Values”, and “Restoration of Churches in the Vitebsk Region”.

VSMU and BRSM activists helped visitors test their knowledge using the “I Know Belarus” educational maps. The youngest visitors and their parents enthusiastically took part in workshops and interactive games focused on patriotic education.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Rozhnozhik and Governor of the Pskov Region Mikhail Vedernikov. They visited the various venues and highly appreciated the contribution of young people to strengthening friendly ties between the regions. During their discussions, they also considered new joint projects, including those dedicated to memorable pages in the history of the Great Patriotic War.
