On September 10, information meetings were held as part of the Unified Information Day on the topic “Unity Day as a Factor of National Pride”. The large-scale event covered all faculties of the university — General Medicine, Dentistry, Pediatrics and Pharmacy — as well as departments, structural units, clinical facilities and student dormitories.
The participants emphasized that the holiday celebrated in Belarus on September 17 symbolizes the historical continuity and unity of the Belarusian people.
The discussions focused on the role of historical memory in shaping civic attitudes and the importance of national identity in the modern world. Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that Unity Day reminds us of the importance of consolidating society in the face of any challenges. The participants agreed that pride in one’s country is shaped not only by achievements, but also by respect for the shared values and traditions of the Belarusian people.
