VSMU Staff Cycle Tour Dedicated to Unity Day

On September 18, 2026, a two-day cycle tour for University staff was launched in honour of the significant holiday for every Belarusian — Unity Day.

Following brief words of encouragement from Deputy Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel, the cyclists set off along the VSMU – Losvido Tourist and Recreation Complex – VSMU route.

After covering approximately 50 kilometres along field and forest roads, the participants settled in for the night at the Losvido Tourist and Recreation Complex. In the evening, they enjoyed time around the campfire, sang songs accompanied by guitar and had a warm and friendly gathering with like-minded colleagues.

This annual festive cycle tour contributes to promoting a healthy lifestyle among VSMU staff, fostering civic awareness and strengthening team spirit within the University community.

The cycle tour was organized by the VSMU Staff Trade Union Committee and Sports Club, with the full support of the University administration. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved!
