Unified Safety Day Held at VSMU

On September 24, 2026, as part of the Unified Safety Day held in our country, Vitebsk State Medical University conducted a series of activities aimed at developing a culture of safe behavior among students and staff, as well as practicing practical skills for responding to emergency situations.

Training alarms and practical evacuations were organized in the university's academic buildings and dormitories under various emergency scenarios. Participants practiced procedures for responding to fires, discovering suspicious objects and other emergencies, as well as the procedure for calling emergency services and providing first aid to victims.

The activities made it possible to systematize and reinforce vital safety rules, practice practical actions in emergency situations, and improve readiness to respond competently and promptly should a threat arise.
