Proud of by the University: Ceremonial Renewal of the VSMU Honor Board

On September 28, 2026, a ceremonial event dedicated to the renewal of the VSMU Student Honor Board, “Proud of by the University,” was held at Vitebsk State Medical University.

This tradition has existed at the university since 2023. The Honor Board was established to recognize students who have achieved outstanding success in academic, scientific, sports, creative, and public activities. It includes winners and prize-winners of international and national Olympiads and competitions, as well as students whose work has contributed to the development of the university.

Today, students who distinguished themselves most prominently during the 2025/2026 academic year were honored.

The ceremony was opened by University Rector Alexey Chukanov. He addressed those present with welcoming remarks and congratulations, after which he presented certificates of inclusion on the VSMU Honor Board to students whose achievements were deemed worthy of this distinction.

Polina Sachek, a student of the Faculty of Dentistry, spoke on behalf of the award recipients. In her speech, she thanked the university administration for creating conditions for study and comprehensive personal development, noting that such opportunities help students realize their potential.
