VSMU Representatives Took Part in the First Interregional Congress on Allergology and Immunology

On September 25–26, 2026, the First Interregional Congress on Allergology and Immunology with international participation was held at Sechenov University.

The congress created a platform where communication with leading experts developed into substantive professional dialogue, while the most complex specialized issues became the subject of open discussion.

Employees of Vitebsk State Medical University delivered presentations at the congress. Tatyana Gordievich, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course in Advanced Training and Professional Development, presented a report entitled “Prognostic Significance of Immunological Biomarkers in the Development of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease” (academic supervisor: Oksana Ishchenko, Head of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course in Advanced Training and Professional Development, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor).

The report generated considerable interest among the audience and prompted lively discussion. Following the Young Scientists’ Competition, Tatyana Gordievich was awarded first place.
