On September 28, 2026, the Center for Allergology and Immunology opened at the VSMU Clinic. The establishment of the new unit was prompted by the growing prevalence of allergic diseases and patients’ need for specialized, highly qualified care.
Opening the center, VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov noted: “The main goal of the Center is to provide patients with a full cycle of healthcare: from consultations to in-depth diagnostics and personalized therapy. The most advanced methods will be used here, enabling us not merely to relieve symptoms but to eliminate the underlying cause of the disease.”
The new center will bring together three key areas: diagnostics, treatment, and education. An important feature of the Center will be the availability of care for patients of all age groups — medical care will be provided to both children and adults. Modern laboratory and instrumental diagnostics of allergic disorders will be carried out at the Center, along with specialized treatment.
