The event was organized to promote research activities among students, demonstrate the achievements of student scientific clubs, and develop academic engagement among young people. The event brought together practically all of the university’s scientific associations on one platform.
The event was opened by VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov.
“The importance of student science is difficult to overestimate, because it is during their student years that the foundation for future discoveries is laid. Holding such a fair is more relevant than ever today: it allows young people to find their vocation in research and take their first step into the world of science,” Alexey Chukanov emphasized.
It is worth noting that student scientific clubs operate at virtually every department of VSMU. They help students not only engage in scientific work, but also study complex clinical and theoretical issues in depth, participate in conferences, publish their first scientific articles, and find like-minded people.
At the fair, every student had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the university’s scientific clubs, communicate with their supervisors and active members, learn about current research and promising areas, choose an activity that interested them, and enroll in a club of their choice.
