“Land of Birds” Exhibition Opens at the Library Art Gallery

On October 1, 2026, the ceremonial opening of Alisa Gonchar’s personal exhibition “Land of Birds,” dedicated to the fascinating world of birds, took place at the library art gallery.

The exhibition’s author is a sixth-year student of the Faculty of General Medicine who successfully combines demanding medical studies with an interesting hobby.

At the opening, University Rector Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov noted that the project demonstrates how talented our people are. Science and education cannot exist without inspiration, while art helps us look at familiar things in a new way and broadens the boundaries of perception.

The exhibition was visited by students, teachers, university staff, and guests, who gladly shared their impressions of the creative works and experienced the warm atmosphere of the evening. Sergei Anatolievich Dorofeev, Candidate of Biological Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Zoology at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, called the “Land of Birds” exhibition vivid evidence that scientific inquiry and art can complement each other harmoniously.

We invite everyone to visit this vibrant exhibition of photographs of our “feathered neighbors” for creative inspiration and a wonderful mood!
