VSMU Students Succeed at the 3rd International Congress “Innovative Cardiology”

On 8–9 October 2026, the 3rd International Congress “Innovative Cardiology” was held in Minsk. As part of the congress, a poster presentation competition was organised for fifth- and sixth-year students from medical universities.

Students from VSMU’s Faculty of General Medicine represented the university with distinction and were recognised for the high standard of their research.

The presentation by Ekaterina Zemirova and Polina Pecherskaya, entitled “Personalised Strategies for Improving Treatment Adherence: A New Perspective on Hypertension Therapy” (supervisor: Associate Professor M. S. Pecherskaya), was named the best entry.

Anastasia Lvova took second place with her presentation “The Modified BENDING Test in the Diagnosis and Prognosis of Chronic Heart Failure” (supervisor: Professor V. I. Kozlovsky).
