Kaplan Medical will be presenting the following two free faculty webinars in May 2019:

1. Item Writing Workshop: Focus on Item Analysis

Wednesday, May 15 - two choices: 8am ET & 4pm ET

This one hour, interactive session presented by Kaplan’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Christopher Cimino will cover how to interpret item analysis data to improve the ability of questions to discriminate between strong and weak students.

It will begin with an overview of common cognitive issues that lead to flawed items and how to correct these types of mistakes. The underlying statistics of item analysis will be described.

2. SAVE THE DATE: Ensuring Readiness for Step 2CS

Thursday, May 30 - Time TBD

Hosted by Kaplan Medical Step 2 CS specialist, this webinar will discuss the issues that students face in preparing for the Step 2CS. Methods and tools will be uncovered that faculty can employ to ensure that students are ready for the exam.
