VSMU has a leading position amongst the universities of the Republic of Belarus in The Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2021

According to the latest list ranking released by the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2021, VSMU has been ranked 601-800, taking the leading position amongst the universities in the Republic of Belarus (GRSMU ranked 801-1000, BSUIR – 1000+). The results are published on the website https://www.timeshighereducation.com. The overall ranking includes 1,117 universities from 94 countries/regions.

VSMU ranked 601-800, together with the Medical University of Warsaw (Poland), the University of Colombo (Sri-Lanka), Ankara University (Turkey), the University of Baghdad (Iraq), the University of Ibadan (Nigeria), the University of Lucerne (Switzerland), the University of Montevideo (Uruguay), National Taipei University of Education (Taiwan), Novosibirsk State Technical University (Russia), Tokyo City University (Japan), Oregon Health & Science University (USA), Saint Petersburg State University (Russia), the University of South China (China), Zanjan University of Medical Sciences (Iran), and others. 

The overall ranking is led by a UK university for the first time: the University of Manchester. Three Australian institutions complete the top four: the University of Sydney, RMIT University and La Trobe University. 

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They use carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparison across four broad areas: research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.
